Analysis, interpretation and implications on Philosophy of National Education (NEP)
1. The aim of studying philosophy is thus to note for a swell as to prove reality, and to provide wariness or guide for the improvement and advancement of mankind, culture and nation.
2. National Education philosophy (NEP) was designed from driving forces based on intelligent and critical thinking with reference to the national ideology:
a. Education Reports
b. Education policy
c. Five National Principles
3. NEP was proclaimed authorizedly in the year 1988:
“the education in Malaysia is a continuous effort towards the direction of developing the potentials of individuals comprehensively and coherently, so as to wee harmonious and balanced individuals in aspects of intellect, spiritual, emotion and physical, basing on the belied and respect to God.
This effort is to convey Malaysians with knowledge, adroitness, good character, responsibility and the ability to formulate his own well-being, and also able to contribute positively in making Malaysia a harmonious and prosperous society”

There were various factors which had played important roles in the determinations of the contents, aims and aspirations of the NEP. separately of these factors are briefly described as follows:
1. Religious factor
a. Islam is the official religion. Others: Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism
b. The religions stated above especially Islam, are the important sanctioned factor to consider in the process of drawing NEP.
