The movie that I decided to watch is c wholeed Freedomland, which is based on a novel by Richard Price. The characters in the movie ar Samuel Jackson,
Julianne Moore and Edie Falco. This movie was perfect for this assignment because it
deals with minorities and stereotyping. The story is about a Caucasian wo macrocosm who is searching for her missing son. The character Brenda is a daycare teacher who is well known in the demoralise income urban federation. She is well respected until she makes accusations that a black man stole her car with her son in the backseat. This claim
sparks an very raging investigation in the urban community, that eventually causes a chain reactor of uproar between the minorities and the patrol section. The movie gets more enkindle when the police department places a black cop in charge of the case. Samuel Jackson is well known in the community as well, but they eventually turn on him because they sprightliness betrayed. The interesting thing about this movie is that Brenda led the police department to believe that the crime was committed in the urban community, which led to a lock-down in the projects.
The minorities were outraged that the police department had to lock-down their community because they had several homicides committed there on flock under 18 and it would take the police hours/days to stage up.
This plot begins to thicken when the woman from abstracted Children get mingled in the search. During the movie they would frequent the community observing all the uproar and eventually realizing that the case was going nowhere. After win over the detective (Samuel Jackson) that they were experienced in finding missing children, they were commensurate to get closer to Brenda. I noticed that after the women of Missing Children were involved, Brenda began to open up more. They were able to speak to her in a way that would make her feel comfortable enough to wear out details.
