Before the piece of euphony began I though I would be a everyday tender , evidently enjoying being at a cultural event . The air in which Stravinsky captures the audience with the harmony dissonance and then the pestilent consonance with the string instruments and the pinch was breathtaking . The tones of voices matched with consonance with the orchestra , and this stability along with the adagio was what caught my interest as a listener . Although Stravinsky wrote this piece not to be a symphony with psalms but the psalm being symphonized , the chorus would not have been as dynamic . Also , as a listener , it was not the sing that necessarily drew me into the music I had no connotation of events to associate with the symphony , and therefore I would consider myself an absolutist to some degree because the music stands solid on its give without the background association it has to the Psalms .
