The Destructors
Whats the craziest thing that you have eer done over a three day spend? Try demolishing an entire augury with a few friends and only a few simple tools. The short falsehood The Destructors takes places in London, post World War II in the year 1954. The story is centered around a blue group of boys, which consist of T., Blackie, and the rest of the lot. Blackie and the gang seem to come upon a hideous, yet a very familiar field owned by a man named Thomas, which the gang unremarkably refers to as middle-aged harm. Secured by the gangs votes, Blackie and the rest of the gang steady down to literally tear the entire house down temporary hookup Old Misery is gone for a Bank Holiday. When Old Misery returns, he sees his house turned to debris and rubble. Depending on how one comprehends the story there are a flesh of themes that can may come to mind. However the biggest theme is destroying the experienced and replacing it with something new.
Blackie, T,. and the rest of the gang represent the young during their time. The gang or youth at that time grew up during a time of war and grief. The only thing the youth has seen in their life is war and fighting amongst other people. Therefore the youth acts no better than that.
Thomas horrid house was described as the house stood up like a jagged tooth and carried on the further wall relics of its neighbor , a dado, the remains of a fireplace (55). When the the gang notices the disturbing and ugly house, T. decides he wants to swallow rid of it and destroy it completely. T. proceeds to talk to Old Misery himself, and discovers that Old Misery will be out of townsfolk for a few days because of the bank weekend. The gang votes upon destroying the house during the weekend, and manage to scrummage up enough votes to follow through.
