Program Highlights The curriculum in Fashion Merchandising is comprised of a variety of courses which cover the organization and operation of the fashion industry, the action and distribution of merchandise, product teaching and merchandise characteristics, and the social, psychological, and aesthetic components of garb and appearance as they relate to consumer behavior. Faculty actively contribute research in the areas of consumer behavior including impulse buying behavior, non-traditional retail formats and shopping orientation. Faculty strive to bring the newest information into the classroom and engage students in active learning.
