Shy was a term frequently used to depict me as a child. My reluctance to posit myself in loving activities, to actively participate in classes or to meet the eye of my teachers and peers were symptoms of a shy child. My reticence was explained away and often fleecy aside. Childhood was a constantly changing atmosphere of impertinent coachs and new neighborhoods as we moved from place to place. Quietness and a function of shrinking away from others induced bullying amongst my peers against me, pricking sensibilities already overly sensitive to slights and faults. I was expected to find class five days of the week and returning substructure was often met with even more dread than the morning rides on the bus to the community school.
As I grew older, my reluctance to act with others outside of my family grew more restricting until I was removed from school altogether at the age of thirteen for reasons other than my festering discomfort. The lack of exposure to anyone beyond my conterminous family was damning, my all experiences with others revolving nearly a hectic family life.
