Introduction

Scalability of the CDN is its ability to serve sudden increase in the request for content by automatic whollyy providing the change magnitude capacity to meet the increased demand. Security issue is all about protecting the content from unauthorized access and modification. CDNs should be designed with the assumptions that the network failures are bound to happen. A defect tolerant CDN should be able to provide its content to an Edge server through multiple routes. This will ensure the reliability of the CDN.
