Empowering People Through Delegation

Have you always had a job, where you worked incredibly hard, and felt like you were going to be stuck in that position for the rest of your life? For the last leash years, I prat say that I bear go through that feeling on a weekly basis. Currently, I am a meat cutter and night supervisor at Whole Foods Market in La Jolla. However, I was not always a supervisor, for three years I was a clerk, cleaning and scrubbing. It was not until a year ago, were my team leader empowered me through military commission. Eventually, he gave me a supervising position, were I was in charge of five people during the night shift. It was not until that moment, that I started to experience true management responsibilities. This paper leave alone show you my struggles, and positives through the use of delegation.
Delegation is the process, were a superordinate word officer presents an opportunity of responsibility, and power to a tame. Thus, usually, resulting in stronger interest within a range of decision-making. In addition, it allows a subordinate to make decisions by transferring authority from one organization aim to another, lower level (Hunsaker 168).




Moreover, delegation is important to me, because it gives the employee a moxie of authority, thus, resulting in better work performance. I chose this subject because, I am currently in a position, were I can delegate others, and empower them as well. I know that if I delegate my subordinates in the future, it will free up my meter for other duties, and will improve my decision-making. On the other hand, delegation usually improves manager and subordinate relations, the act of delegation shows that a manager has trust and confidence in the delegatee (Hunsaker 169).
