I have been hire as a pre naturalize teacher at Chelsi Learning Center in which I work with a group of ten 3 and 4 year olds. The schools syllabus offers a half-day routine program which lasts 3 hours each day. The program at this school subscribes to and follows the statements in the Position Statement of the National Association for the facts of life of Young Children. I will develop and discuss a platform plan for a one week close which will reflect the values of the preschool program, my vision for children, for the community and why it is intellectually engaging for children and teachers.

The approach that I feel closely reflects my own values and beliefs is the unified organization approach. (Feeney, et al,(2010) p. 357).
Integrated organization refers to curriculum in which a topic of study provides a focus for the curriculum. The topic serves as an umbrella under which different developmental and subject areas are integrated. In an integrated study, children investigate a topic in depth over a period of time. The topic forms the hub for curriculum in many different subject areas. Unit planning, thematic planning, integrated study, and project approach are all forms of integrated organization.
