In To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee discusses ground as a crucial element to the story. Setting is principally described as the time and place of which an even occurs. on that point are two factors of setting: physical setting and fond setting. Physical setting mainly discusses the region of a stead; the amicable setting refers to a description of how concourse parcel out for each one other in the community. In stark contrast, Lee describes the Negro settlement with romantic, pleasant words and images. Their cabins however were neat and tight and dainty smells [of] chicken and bacon would be in the air. The positive aspects that the author displays nearly the Negro settlements had a sense of home to it whereas the Ewells encourage was just an area for them to live. By using the word snug, Lee is able to explain how comfortable and safe the Negroes felt.
